Large Sunny Room, $800 Plus Utilities

I’m renting a large and sunny room in my apartment with a flexible move-in date. The room is 12x11ish with two south-facing windows. No closet but a wardrobe and a small desk are included if you like. The common room is large and has a table and chairs, my bookshelf, and a couch.

I’m kendra, I’m 32, I like to go out, read, cook, play the sims, listen to music (at a respectful volume), and make art (it’s bad, I just like to do it). I’m currently out of a job but I’ll find something good soon, and the jobs I’m looking for aren’t remote so I won’t be doing the wfh thing.

The apartment is 2 blocks from the NR subway and a quick walk to all the cute things in bay ridge. Nearby is a lot of bodegas, grocery stores, laundry, and plenty of takeout. Sunset park Chinatown is about a mile away, and so is Costco and industry city. A bus right on the corner can take you up to gowanus, which I used to take in the before times to some cute bars and the Whole Foods up there.

I’m clean but not a neat freak, chill, happy to chat/hang but also like my alone time. I’mquiet and I don’t have people over often, and in covid times even less so.

I have a cat who’s chill to hang with, not super cuddly but likes to be around people. I eat and cook meat in the apartment, if that’s a concern. I don’t mind smokers as long as you keep it to your room. friendly.

Looking for someone longish term. First and last month rent to move in ($1600 total).
