1 Room available in 2-Bedroom Apartment

Hello,

I am looking for a roommate to rent one of the two bedrooms in a 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, 6 blocks from the Express N/D/R train and near Industry City.

The rent for the larger room is $1100 a month, plus utilities. It is available immediately.

I am currently living in the smaller of the two rooms and would be willing to move to the larger one if I found the right roommate. The smaller room is $950 plus utilities.

The apartment in on the 2nd floor and has a large private balcony, open kitchen/living room combo, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and island, and hardwood floors. The landlords live in the downstairs unit with their family and are very friendly, fair, and responsive.

I am a public school teacher and a playwright. My hours during the weekdays are very regular due to my school schedule. I'm up and out early, so I'm looking for someone who is fairly low-key and quiet when at home.
