Who needs a gym when you have the park just steps from your door? Or a dishwasher when you have your hands? Laundry in the building? Good luck finding a free machine when you need one? Those amenities might be nice, but those apartments are missing a couple of things. My sparkly personality, and you.
Professional woman seeks female roommate to share large two-bedroom apartment in pre-war building steps from Prospect Park and the subway. Move in date is Oct. 3 or thereabouts. One month?s rent for the deposit and first month?s rent required.
Your bedroom is large and can fit a queen-size bed with a dresser and/or desk. It is unfurnished and features two large windows to let the sun shine in. Small closet next to bedroom. Room measures approximately 14 x 12.
Don?t worry about the color, it is in the process of being painted white. When you move in you can paint it any color you want. There is also space in the common areas to add your personality.
Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, and are separated by the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Privacy is guaranteed. Apartment is quiet and windows don?t face the street.
Pre-war building with an elevator. Launderette is down the road. Nice size sink for hand-washing dishes.
I am neat, friendly, tidy. You should be too. I do like a tipple every now and then. I also like a good conversation and love a bit of banter. However, if that?s not your thing, that?s ok. YIU do you. I enjoy reading, all things vintage, especially clothing, and bad British reality TV. (I dare anyone to watch 10 minutes of TOWIE and not be equally fascinated and appalled.) Shared spaces need to be kept tidy. Please no loud TV or music.
I prefer no shoes in the apartment. Speaking of Covid-19, I mask from the moment I leave home until I return. I wash my hands frequently and I swear anti-bacterial gel has become my new BFF.
The living room measures almost 14 x 14 and there is a shared closet near the front door.
No pets, and I?d like to keep overnight guests to a minimum.
Short walk to Q at Parkside, even shorter walk to B train at Church Ave. Lots of bus options. Close to bus that stops at Kings County Hospital and another that will take you to Downtown Brooklyn. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
Did I mention you?re less than 10 minutes to the park?
