HUGE room in South Prospect Park

My partner and I (both 33 years old) are looking for a roommate to take an unfurnished king size (12x16) sunny bedroom in a 2BR 1.5BA apartment in a very large Prospect Park South apartment. I'm a school teacher attending grad school and my partner is an artist; we're hoping to find someone who is okay with being reasonably quiet on weekday evenings after 10pm. MUST LOVE DOGS - we've got two very friendly largish mutts who will be very excited to see you. We like reading, art, baseball, playing with our dogs, and the occasional cocktail. We're very easy going and we hope that you will be too.

The apartment is on the 6th floor of an elevator building and is transportation rich: It is very close to the Church St. stop on the B and Q lines. It's walking distance from stops on the F, G, 2, and 5 and is near a number of buses. There's a number of grocery stores, bars, coffee shops, laundromats, and restaurants nearby.

The apartment itself is enormous - somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200 feet. It's got a standalone dining room, which is pretty wild for New York; it's definitely It was just renovated back in May - fresh paint, new appliances, new cabinets in the kitchen. It's a genuinely really nice place. My understanding is that it's rent stabilized and that the new laws will keep the landlords from raising the rent above the yearly maximums. We intend to stay here for quite a while - maybe you will too!

Move in date is July 1st but we can work with you if you need to move in a littler earlier or later.

A note about the photos: We're still unpacking from our move (our stuff got here late!) so we've been using the other room to store boxes. Those will be out of there by the time you move in, obviously!
