Spend the summer in the middle of it all!

Queen sized room and private bath available for shared living in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath Prospect Heights apartment. Great for someone transitioning back to the city or an established couple looking to save on rent.

Apartment features lightly furnished kitchen and dining rooms, living space for WFH setup, and big backyard! Haven't done our spring cleaning out back, but it's great for the hot summer months.

The bedroom space is available to be furnished with a bed dresser and TV, or can be occupied unfurnished.

Must be low maintenance. OG Brooklyn Landlord is responsive but has no plans for a major overhaul. Minor improvements and painting are under way. Laundromat right across the street.

Available for short-term if you're just looking for something for the summer or longer term subleases with 30-day notice, utlities included (heat/HW, electric, wifi), $25 extra for airconditoner.

Freelancers and grad students okay, but must be able to make rent before the 1st each month for monthly rentals.

I am the long term tenant occupying the other side of the apartment with my 3-year-old non-hypoallergenic rescue dog. I tend to stay on my side of the apartment and keep the dog sectioned off in his own space. The only truly shared spaces are the kitchen and backyard.

I like to keep it neat, laid back and low key. Looking for mature, reliable and communicative roommate(s) who also likes to live, cook and entertain at home, but has a live outside of it. Pitch in on communal stuff, respect others' space and things, and is willing to talk it out if there's a problem.

The apartment is right on Vanderbilt near Weather Up, Beirwax, Olmsted, Alta Calidad, and a whole host of other things on Washington St and Fulton Ave. Close to Barclay center, Clinton Washington C, 7th Ave Q/B, and walking distance to Prospect Park, BAM, Crown Heights and Park Slope.

Pleanty of space for a queen-sized bed and furniture (see furnished example). Bedroom includes two closets and open closet storage by current tenant that can stay or be removed.

ABOUT THIS LISTER
HR lady for an amazing nonprit org working hybrid 2-3 days a week. Mid-30s, safely social, wholly liberal, and a little bit of a hippie. Likes a dish doing, occasional sweeping, moderately neat but always clean housemate. Not a cat person, love dogs but 1 is the max, fish/plant parent.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
First month's rent and $1,500 deposit to move in. Good references a plus.

Weekly rentals required before COB Mondays with a $250 deposit up front which will be returned within 48hrs of the end of your stay.
