Spacious room in Prospect Heights

The Living Room

We are renting a large room in a second floor walk-up in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, just two blocks from Prospect Park and Brooklyn Museum subway stop for the 2 and 3 lines. We do not currently have any pets but would be happy to accept renters with pets.

We are a couple, a writer (Elle, 25) and a lawyer (Nicole, 26) looking to rent to one or two people. Elle is a night owl and Nicole is an early bird, but both of us are quiet and unintrusive.

The room is about 14' by 12' with two large windows facing the street. There is a cabinet for clothes and storage, and a full-size bedframe available on request. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, but with a lot to do nearby.

The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all shared, but we've never had trouble with crowding. The building is old, but well maintained, with hardwood floors and quiet, long-term residents and a responsive, friendly landlord and super.

We are LGBT friendly, couples friendly, pet friendly, vegetarian friendly, and non-smoking although we would accept a smoking roommate.
