Room in Terrific centrally located Park Slope Apt

Hey everyone, our wonderful roommate is moving in with her boyfriend. So we're looking for a roommate & hopefully you're it!

The apartment is a floor-thru of a brownstone right in the heart of Park Slope's Historic District. Our whole floor was gut renovated a few years back so everything is in excellent condition. Room can easily accommodate a full to queen size bed plus desk, dresser, bookcase, etc. The room has a ceiling fan with dimmable light and the space comes empty and unfurnished. The apartment itself has an open concept living room-dining room-kitchen combo that works well for cooking, eating and plain ol' relaxing with a book or tv-watching. Our kitchen is well equipped and we have incredible prep space (8' island) and a dining area that comfortably seats 4. The bathroom is a good size with full length bath. As for the apartment amenities we've a dishwasher and a washer/dryer *in* the apartment. (No more laundromats!) There's also hall tree on the landing right outside our front door for hanging our coats and winter boots. One thing to mention is that our building is "smoke free/pet free" and our landlord lives on the premises directly below our apartment so we're a mild mannered household.

About the location: the apartment is perfect in terms of its proximity to everything. Though COVID has altered many things, we still have restaurants, bars, specialty stores, markets, cafes, shops and convenience stores/delis. We're two blocks from Prospect Park (great for runners) and two blocks from the F/G trains to 7th Avenue. We're a 15 minute train ride to DUMBO, 20 minutes to the Lower East Side and 30 to the village. As for Park Slope in general, it is a great neighborhood which I'm sure a quick google search can attest to.

Rent $1200.00 - to move in renter needs one month's rent + one month's deposit ($2,400.00) and a 10-12 month commitment. (Sorry, no short term arrangements.) Utilities: Heat and hot water are included in rent but Spectrum internet, ConEd and National Grid average out to $75.00/mo each. (For perspective some months the bills average out to a low $45 each.)

Room is available January 1, 2021.
