Room in South Slope

Unfurnished bedroom is available in a two-bedroom apartment in South Slope. I listed it as a small bedroom but I slept on a full-size bed in it for many years. The room also has a shelved closet, which you would have along with a regular closet in the common area.

The apartment also has a living room and a dining room, a decent-size kitchen, and a "cozy" bathroom, plus a shared backyard with two other units. Near F, G, and R trains. Close to the park. Good restaurants and markets nearby.

I'm a 42yo single gay dude. I've lived in the apartment for 13 years, so the apartment has all the furnishings and appliances that one would need. I work 10-6, so I'm not home most weekdays, although I do work from home from time to time. I write (poetry) on the weekends in the apartment. I cook and bake a lot; I entertain semi-regularly.

Looking for someone who is chill, clean, respectful, quiet. Someone who works at night or needs a place during the week only would be ideal, but that may be pie-in-the-sky. (If that were the case though, we could negotiate the rent.) You would have to be on the lease, as my landlady requires it. She would want to run a credit check, and you would need to provide a security deposit of $1150.
