Small room for rent in South Slope

Hi. We're looking for someone to move into the spare room we have available.

The room is unfurnished. It's around 100 sq. ft. (13.5x7.5) It has a closet.

The living room, kitchen, bathroom are all shared. We also have a rooftop patio with a bbq and a small secluded area where you can store a bicycle.

Rent is $950 a month. We split the utilities which ends up averaging around $40-50 a month each.

It's a very quiet area.

The Prospect Ave R train stop is a block away, 3 stops from Barclays Center. Depending on the time of day, you can get into midtown in about 30 minutes.

The F train at 4th & 9th st. is one stop away on the R line and easily walkable in about 10 minutes.

Your housemates would be 2 guys and 1 girl. There are also 2 dogs which spend their time in their owners' respective rooms.

There is no cigarette smoking indoors. Those of us who do smoke do it outside.

We are looking for someone to move in and join us on the lease that is up for renewal. Dont bother asking about the room if you only need a place for a few months. We want someone for at least a year.

There isnt really much partying or hanging out here. We all work very different schedules and all enjoy how quiet the space is.

The neighborhood is real good and there are a lot of great bars in the area in addition to all sort of great food options. Laundromats all within a block or two, supermarkets, banks, dry cleaners, etc... and again, real close to the subway and 3 stops from Atlantic terminal. It situated in a very convenient location here in south slope.

If you own a car, parking here is a nightmare and I wouldn't advise it.

All 3 of your potential housemates are really good people, very respectful and tolerant of other people's space, views, lifestyles, etc. The only things we dont tolerate are making messes, making excessive noise, and being a nuisance so... basically... be an adult.
