I will be moving out July 31st and I am looking for someone to take over my lease on August 1. I signed a two year lease with the management company so you will be subleasing my room for the second year of my lease. This is a true 3 bedroom apartment right in the heart of beautiful Park, Slope, Brooklyn. There are a ton of restaurants and bars nearby. There are also a couple grocery stores and laundromats. Prospect park is nearby which is great for running or hanging out with friends. The entire area is extremely safe and close to the R and F trains or you can take a 15 minute stroll to Atlantic Ave where you can catch most NYC trains.
The bedroom for rent is the smallest of the 3, it is roughly 10'x12' and will fit a queen or full bed, a dresser, and desk. It also has a small closet. The rest of the apartment is quiet large for a NYC apartment. It has a large open floor plan kitchen/living room and shared bathroom. The rest of the apartment is furnished so you'll only need to bring your bedroom furniture.
As for the other two roommates they are in their early 20's and are working professionals/student. They are fun, chill girls looking for another girl to fill the room. Preferably in 20's or early 30's. They keep the apartment clean and never bring the party home. They are often gone on the weekends visiting friends, boyfriends or going home to see family. During the week they are both usually at work or school till later in the evening. They both like to keep active, check out new restaurants, and see shows. They would like to find someone respectful, clean, professional, and fun. Perhaps someone that would like to go to dinner or grab drinks every once in a while.
Now to get to the fun part...bills. Monthly rent is $1045.00 and utilities usually run about $80.00/mo per person. Utilities include spectrum internet and a streaming service you can access through a smart tv or roku, electric, and gas.
Upfront, you will pay me 1045.00 for last month's rent and 1045.00 for security deposit. You will also pay me 250.00 fee for paperwork the management company has to do (run background checks, switch lease to your name, ect.). Total you will pay me upfront: $2340.00
Then when you fill out paperwork the management company will charge a 75.00 fee for credit check. Once you are approved and all the paperwork is complete you will then be able to pay your first months rent through their system.
