ISO Roommate for Lease renewal

About me:
🔹I’m 27-years old and a high school English teacher.
🔹I’m a Taurus Sun, Scorpio Moon, Libra Rising, Virgo Mars, and Taurus Venus for those who care.
🔹I have a 3-year old dog named Jasper. He is an Australian Cattle Dog and Border Collie Mix. He is an emotional support animal. Jasper is very friendly but he for the most part stays in my room unless my roommate would feel comfortable with him walking around; he is sometimes a shedder. I love traveling and I love the outdoors.
🔹I frequent at Prospect Park and it’s only a 30-minute walk from the apartment, and three stops away on the F-train. I’m also a track coach and I enjoy running.
🔹I’m a 4/20 friendly girly and appreciate a good glass of red wine every now and again. I’m very big on activism, prison reform, and being aware of what’s happening around the world.
🔹I’m spiritual, not religious; LGBTQ+ ally, but not a member so I’m open to all. I have a boho sense of style—just for decorating and furniture discussion

What I’m looking for in a roommate:
I’m looking for someone who isn’t pushy when it comes to being friends and allows things to happen organically. Ideally, I would love to have a friendship with the person I’m rooming with but if you’re just looking for a place to rest your head and handle your bearings, that is more than okay with me as well. Someone who is kind and is understanding of boundaries. I would prefer minimal people staying over weekdays during the school year just because I wake up at 4am for work. Someone not too uptight but also not too laid back. I want the apartment to be respected and I would like us to consider each other when it comes to our actions regarding things related to the apartment. If there are overnight guests, I would just like communication beforehand. Someone who leads with compassion, and is communicative. I would prefer a roommate who is 25+ but I’m open to discussion if you are 23/24.

The Apartment:
My apartment is in Kensington, Brooklyn. It is a 3-minute walk away from the F-train Ditmas Ave stop. The area is very quiet and mainly family-oriented. There are men outside at night but the never harass me or anything and they keep to themselves.

In the video the order of rooms are as follows:
1st: Living Room- The living room is going to be mainly unfurnished as my roommate is taking her stuff with her. The room will look like this with a rug and some shelves—this also leave opportunities for us to decorate together and make the space ours
2nd: Kitchen. All new appliances and soooo much cabinet space.
3rd: Bathroom. There was a drain blockage that will be fixed by move-in time and the bathroom just got re-caulked
4th: Your Room!
