The room:
-Backyard-facing room with one window and LOTS of sunshine
-Room fits a Queen-sized mattress
-Bedroom is on 1st floor (we have both 1st and basement floors) of a two family home.
-Bathroom is shared with one other person; the other bedroom is a separate unit with its separate bathroom and separate entrance. Bathroom has modern renovations.
-The area is PERFECT for those who want a quiet area to live in, but still want to be close enough to places where you can enjoy yourself.

The apartment:
-2 smaller bedrooms (one will be yours), one larger bedroom with separate entrance/ bath
-Very large kitchen with dining table
-Door through kitchen to private backyard space with grill and fire pit
-In-unit dishwasher, washer/dryer
-Spacious living room with TV

The roommates:
-Jonathan is a late 20’s performing artist who mostly spends his time making music.
-Jeremy and Rochelle are a very nice couple occupying the larger room in the house. They have a beautiful and quiet 4 month old baby girl (she is as quiet as an angel!)

We would love to have a roommate who:
-Enjoys having dinner together or watching television together occasionally.
-Loves dogs. Jonathan owns a 5 year old medium sized lab mixed, and she is a big part of the household.
-Financially stable
-No drama, able to live cooperatively/share a few chores/responsibilities

The neighborhood:
-Quiet, safe, residential.
-Local stores nearby
-Abundant amount of options for restaurants and bars to have good time out with friends.
-Short walk to D-N-R at 36th Street, which is one express stop from Atlantic Ave/ Barclays and two express stops from downtown Manhattan.
-Also a very short walk to the 5th Avenue B63 bus, with a quick ride into Park Slope and *many, many* restaurants and pubs all along 5th Ave in both directions.
-10 minute walk to downtown Sunset Park, grocery stores/ open air produce markets/ a beautiful park/ restaurants.
-10 minute bike ride or 30 minute walk to Prospect Park.
-Industry City/ Pier Park (plus Smorgasburg, Costco, Bed Bath Beyond) just two blocks over on the New York Harbor.
-One express train stop OR 10 minute or less bike ride to the NYC Ferry/ NY Water Taxi stop to either Manhattan or Far Rockaway at the 58th St Pier. We are one "express" stop via NYC Ferry to Far Rockaway, by the way!
