Available October first! A spacious, carpeted room with two windows, a private entrance and easy access to the roof (striking view of Manhattan). Fourth-floor walk-up.

Heat and hot water included. Renter agrees to pay about thirty dollars a month for Spectrum internet service. Last month's gas bill was ten dollars each, and the electric bill was forty-six dollars each. That's about average.

Renter and I will sign an agreement similar to the one posted.

This is a CONVERTED former-railroad. Both rooms are ABSOLUTELY private and separate. You'll feel comfortable bringing your significant other(s) here ;)

The shared area is bright, roomy and homey. There's a shower-in-kitchen (also known as a "bitchin'"), which has never caused me or my roommate any embarrassments.

The G train (Greenpoint stop), the B62 bus (ten minutes to Bedford L) and the B43 bus all stop right at the corner. "Absurdly close to the train" —Former Roommate.

Three supermarkets, several laundromats/dry cleaners are in close vicinity. A branch of every major bank (Chase/Citi/BoA) is within walking distance. Starbucks/Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid/T-Mobile/Verizon/art galleries/salons/fast food/pizzerias/fancy restaurants/ice cream/record stores/clothing stores/electronics stores/dollar stores/and especially bars are all within walking distance. 

The building is quiet and mostly inhabited by families. The street is a quiet slice of a busy neighborhood, diverse and friendly.

No pets :(

First month plus one month security. I also ask one hundred dollars in "bill security," guaranteeing payment of your last month's bills (refunded if I move-out before you). Rent is due on the first of every month. Bills are paid upon receipt.

I mainly work nights (during non-pandemic times), so you'll have the bathroom and kitchen to yourself every morning. I'm clean, quiet, generous and undramatic. Due to my schedule, I rarely see my roommates. If you value your privacy, I'm the roommate for you.

I am fully vaccinated. 

I thoroughly clean the shared area at least once a month, and touch-up as needed. All I ask is that you purchase Windex and Fabuloso.
