Huge Private Bedroom, Social Worker Roommate

The apartment is railroad style, but there are only two bedrooms on opposite ends of the apartment - no walking through somebody else's room to get to yours! The kitchen, living room, and bathroom are pretty small but the bedroom is huge by Brooklyn standards - it currently easily fits a queen bed, desk, dog bed, and piano! There are two closets. The windows face the backyard, which is quiet and peaceful. Gets great light. Hardwood floors. It's a second floor walkup. It's a 7 minute walk from the Nassau stop of the G train, 18 minutes from the Graham or Bedford stops of the L, and around the corner from the B48 bus. Two blocks from the very lovely McGolrick park and near a whole bunch of bars, restaurants, and cafes. Particularly excellent Polish food nearby. Laundromat across the street. The apartment is rent stabilized and the landlady is a sweet older woman who is very chill. The apartment will be month-to-month until I move out, likely over the summer, when you will have the opportunity to sign a lease or keep it month-to-month. We pay electricity, gas, and internet in addition to rent, but rarely have to turn the heat on.

I am a white, queer, secular Jewish woman in my last semester of grad school for social work and working from home - so I'm pretty busy these days. I'm funny and very kind. I'm fairly cautious about COVID - I wear masks, wash my hands when I get home, and limit the number of people I spend time with unmasked indoors and would appreciate the same. I have a friendly and silly cat named Bagel. I'm messy but not dirty. I will mostly keep my clutter to my room and I like to clean the apartment common areas weekly, but it's not pristine. I don't like bugs, bad smells, or unsanitary conditions though. Which means a good roomie match for me wouldn't mind some untidiness, but we regularly take out the trash, don't leave food out, flush the toilet after we use it, take our shoes off inside, etc. (I have to specify this cause last time I didn't explicitly say it....wound up with someone who didn't flush?) Politics are important to me. I'm a socialist. You don't need to be socialist, but you do need to be down with leftist values/feminism/anti-racism. Please also be 420 friendly! I can keep it in my room with door closed if you'd prefer, but I won't go outside & don't wanna be judged.
