Great Roomate Needed - Great Greenpoint Apartment

The tenant who had put down a deposit has to stay in her current living situation to be a caretaker for her elderly aunt, so this room is now available. Early move-in as soon as March 19 is possible, and rent will be prorated according to your move-in date. April 1 move-in is fine as well. I would prefer a 6-month sublease but am flexible.

$300 move-in deposit to secure the sublease. Monthly rent of $1,625 (plus $125/mo for utilities and WiFi and shared household goods) is due so that the total ($1,750) is available to me by the 1st of each month.

Bank statements, last two paystubs, tax return, or letter from your employer providing proof of income (typically, annual income >= monthly rent ($1,625) x 40) is required.

One dog under 25 pounds is permitted if you pay the $500 pet deposit and the dog is well-mannered and house-trained.

A few blocks from McCarren Park, 1,200 square ft 2.5 bed / 2 bath apartment, sunny and bright floor thru, ideal layout for a roommate situation with bedrooms and private en-suite bathrooms on opposite ends, in-unit washer/dryer (!!!), A/C units in each room. Walk-up on the third floor (two easy flights of stairs). Grocery store a five minute walk away.

$1,625/month for the bedroom with the white decor in the photos (it's actually larger than the photos might suggest). It can also come unfurnished if you prefer. The bedroom has two windows for a nice cross breeze and is furnished with a full-size bed with storage drawers underneath, a wall unit with desk and chair, and a dresser. You'll have a large closet and adjoining en-suite private full bathroom with tub.

The kitchen is fully stocked for your use. I?m rarely in the kitchen and clear out of the living room when you?re home. Feel free to watch the big screen TV (you?ll need subscriptions?I don?t have any, but you?re welcome to browse the library of DVDs).

I am clean and neat and tidy, almost to a fault, and like to keep the common spaces that way. I've lived in this apartment for six years, going on seven. I work from home. My bedroom, office, and bathroom are on the other end of the apartment.

The owners own the building next door and live here and are very responsive yet respectful of our privacy. This is a very neighborly building and consideration for our neighbors is essential. We bring each others' packages inside and don't throw house parties.

I prefer to do the vacuuming and mopping and ask that you take out the trash and recycling and compost. We clean up after ourselves in the kitchen as needed. No shoes in the apartment.
