Available immediately with flexible dates. The sublet is for two large furnished rooms (private living room and bedroom ) in a third floor walkup in Greenpoint?s Historic District. The apartment is in an ideal location close to everything and features a private entrance (no walk through).

The location is;
1 block to G Train at Greenpoint Ave
20 minute walk to Bedford Ave L train
20 minute walk to Vernon-Blvd 7 Train
3 Blocks to the waterfront
5 Minute walk to the east river ferry
1 min walk to Franklin Street

The Apartment
The setup is very unique and large for the area. It's a railroad apartment with two large private rooms (living room and bedroom) available on the front end of the building. The living room has two windows that overlook tree-lined Kent Street and provide a lot of natural light. There's a view of the Empire State Building and newly built One Vanderbilt skyscraper. You have your own entrance and your own lock. The back half of the apartment is where the roommate resides and it is also where the shared kitchen and bathroom are located. To be clear, this is not a walk-through. The kitchen and bathroom are accessed through a separate hallway.

The remainder of the apartments in the building are occupied by families, with the landlord on the bottom floor. She owned the building and has lived in the area her whole life. She is a super cool landlady, but wants someone responsible for the sublet.

The Furnishings
The Living Room: 6-drawer dresser, bookshelf, a loveseat and sofa, coffee table and flat screen TV. The TV is equipped with Roku and a DVD player.

The Bedroom: Roomy with lots of closet space. It comes with a Queen-sized bed, night table, 5-drawer dresser, desk and ceiling fan.

The Kitchen ( Shared ): the kitchen is long and has lots of counter and cabinet space. Amenities include a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and 4-burner stove.

Bathroom ( Shared ) : all the essentials, including a bathtub, toilet, medicine cabinet and additional shelf space.

About The Roommate
He works in Creative and Tech, in his early 40?s and has a son who just turned 1. He's quiet and pretty easy going. The son is only with the roommate a few nights a week.

Who I'm Looking For
Someone who is quiet, responsible and seeking a temporary situation. No particular preference in regards to age or gender.

Rental Details:
Rent is $1500 per month and is due on the 1st of every month. Venmo or Paypal is preferred. Electric and DSL are on top of the monthly rent and are split with the roommate. Cost averages an additional $100-$150 depending on the month.
