Room available in Gowanus Apartment - $950!

Hello!

A private bedroom has become available in a 3 BR apartment located in a fantastic neighborhood! You would have your own 96-sq. ft bedroom (unfurnished), 2 personal closets with approximately 6 square feet of floor space each. Living room and kitchen will be shared with two single male roommates. You would be sharing a full bathroom with only one of us, though.

Rent is $950 a month and includes all utilities:

-Heating & Air-Con

-High-speed internet, including a Roku-enabled TV in the living room.

No lease is required, just month-to-month $950 rent and a $950 security deposit. There would be a basic contract listing our respective responsibilities signed when you move in. The room is available for immediate move-in.

We are two single males who are generally pretty quiet and chill. We?re friendly, but introverted! When I am not sheltering in place, I?m frequently gone for days at a time with work, and the other resident works a 9-to-5 job under normal circumstances.

Regrettably, pets are not allowed here.

Smoking is also 100% not allowed. All applicants must provide at least 3 references, at least one of which must be a previous roommate, and *at least one of which must be a previous landlord*. If your application process moves forward, I would conduct a credit check.

Our apartment is the 3rd floor of a small 3-story building. The second floor is occupied by other tenants, and the ground floor is home to our incredibly nice landlord and his family. Unfortunately, there is no elevator in this building and the staircase is rather narrow.

The neighborhood is spectacular! Many families and young professionals live around here, and you are just a short walk from many restaurants and bars. You are 5 minutes away from at least two gyms and a yoga studio. There?s a Whole Foods Market within a 15-minute walk, and two Trader Joe?s are within two miles of our apartment. You are a 5-minute walk from the Prospect Ave R Train stop and an 8-minute walk from the 4th Avenue-9th Street stop on the F/G/R lines. On the train, you can reach Barclays Center within 10 minutes and lower Manhattan within 20 minutes.
