I have a great apartment in Fort Greene, where I've been for 4 years now! It is a 2BR/1BA, and I am looking for a roommate to fill the second bedroom. Current roommate is moving to Philly for a new job.

The apartment is in a great neighborhood in Brooklyn, the bedroom for rent is about 11'x11' with two large windows that let in morning light and have views towards the back yard. There is a large closet in the room with double bi-fold doors. The kitchen has an open layout to the living room and off of the living room is a dining nook. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all furnished, so all you really need is furniture for your bedroom! The living room has three large windows and get lots of light throughout the day. There is also a washer and dryer in the apartment and a private rooftop/deck/ The roof was recently re-roofed, so the deck is currently gone, but will be re-built this spring (and I still have all the furniture).

The building has a walk score of 99, and is right near Fort Greene Park (with weekend farmers markets!), lots of cute restaurants and bars, and Mr. Mango (a nice grocery store). It is close to so many different subway lines, including the Q which is only 1 stop to Manhattan.

A bit about me: I am from NYC, went to architecture school at Tulane, and I now work for an architecture firm. I currently work from home, but that will likely change later this year. I am laid back, clean, and very friendly! I enjoy going to happy hours, cooking dinner, watching tv, and having friends over to dinner on occasion. I travel a lot for work & fun, and often spend weekends at my parent's house on the North Fork of Long Island. I am usually only home on the weekends 2x a month.
