Light and bright furnished private room available. The spacious room is approximately 170 sq ft (13x13), and includes closet and overhead storage. There are 2 large southern exposure windows overlooking the neighborhood, providing amazing natural light. All utilities are included.

THE APARTMENT
Fourth floor walk up, on the top floor of the building. The apartment is an 1800 sq ft split level, 3 bedroom, 1 and a ? bath bath unit. The available room is on the main floor of the apartment, just off the shared living area. There is one other bedroom and the full bath on the main floor. The 3rd bedroom and ? bath are upstairs, allowing everyone personal space and privacy. There is only one other apartment on our floor of the building, and we do not share any walls (or have anyone above us) creating a tranquil space. There is central heat/ac - a big bonus during the heat of summer and dead of winter! We also have a huge private deck (378 sq ft) for our unit only, which is absolutely amazing Spring, Summer and Fall. It basically doubles as an outer living room, and has wifi, so you can grab your laptop and enjoy the outdoors.

THE BUILDING
The building is about 12 years old. There are only two units per floor (8 total), whose front doors face each other ? so there are no shared walls with any neighbors. Most of the neighbors are late 20-30s age range, while you may hear an occasional weekend get together, overall the building is relatively quiet and respectful. There is a private courtyard for communal use on the ground floor (shared with a ?sister building?) directly behind us. There is a laundry facility available 24/7 in the adjacent building.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
We?re in a fun East Williamsburg neighborhood, full of restaurants, bars, and funky local businesses. Champs vegan restaurant, DunWell donuts, Duk Duk, the Tradesman and Post No Bills (bars) as well as Win Son and Sweet Science restaurants are all local faves within walking distance among many others. We are a HALF block from the Montrose Ave L train, and 4 blocks from the J/M trains. PLEASE NOTE: THE L TRAIN WILL HAVE OVERNIGHT AND WEEKEND SERVICE CHANGES AS THEY REFURBISH THE TUNNELS.

ABOUT US
We are one male working in tech (typically out of the apt from 8a-8p Mon-Fri), a female graphic designer (working partially from home). There is a also a very sweet labradoodle named Leila. We are clean (but not fanatically so), we ask that everyone keeps the common area straight - dishes / food out of the sink etc. We do not bring the party home, and neither should you. We may have an occasional dinner party, but that?s about it. We provide a minimum of 24 hour notice of any guests coming over and ask that everyone do the same and respect that we are sharing a living space. Basically, we?re out of the random hook up / party phase and are looking for the same in a renter. We enjoy the occasional night out, but like to keep home a restful place to get away from the hustle and bustle. If you have a friend / family member / SO coming to visit you in New York, we can discuss schedules and make arrangements to accommodate you.
