Two rooms - Female - Luxury Apt - Downtown Bklyn
Hello! I am looking for two female roommates in their twenties for a luxury apartment in Downtown Brooklyn. Walking distance to 10 subway lines (A, C, F, B, Q, R,2,3,4,5), only a stop away from Manhattan. I am offering two private bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The unit will be a 3 bed/2 bath. The unit is a 2bed/2 bath that the building has approved to be converted to a full 3 bed/ 2 bath (real room, NOT a fake or half wall), while still maintaining a useable space for living room. This is a beautiful luxury rental with endless amenities (24/7 doorman, full gym, indoor pool open all year long, roof top lounge, grills, indoor lounges, and more).
You must be able to sign a lease and make the proper deposits immediately. Move in should be approximately last week of September or October 1st.
The Room and Apartment
The apartment is a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a modern building with a full kitchen (dish washer included) and WASHER/DRYER IN UNIT. Each bedroom has its own own AC/Heating unit. Massive windows with natural light.
Luxury rental with endless amenities (24/7 doorman, full gym, indoor pool open all year long, roof top lounge, grills, indoor lounges, and more). Grocery store attached to the building. Beautiful views of Manhattan one stop from the city.
Walking distance to 10 subway lines (A, C, F, B, Q, R,2,3,4,5) one stop from manhattan, as well as a bus stop right in front of the building that can take you to Dumbo, Williamsburg, Fulton Shopping Center and more!
Lease and Commitment
All three of us will be formally on the lease for 12 month lease. A 24 month option is available if the 3 of us wish to consider it.
On a one year lease, the building is offering one month free. Factoring this in, the rents for each bedroom are as follows:
- Bedroom 1: $1370 net effective monthly rent
- Bedroom 2: $1350 net effective monthly rent

At Move in:
- Application fees of $20 per roommate
- 1 month security divided by 3 of us
- Cost of the real wall divided by three of us (approx $400 each)
- $250 holding fee for application the, divided by the 3 of us that goes toward the first months rent upon approval.
Electric, water, sewage, gas, and internet will run a total of approximately $100 per person, depending on usage.
No amenity fees or broker fees!
- Minimum income to prove to leasing office: $62, 000.
- Acceptable Credit with No late payments on RENT in the past. (if you missed a credit card payment once, it won't get you rejected).
- You are Drug free and Smoke Free.
- You are able to put down the money discussed above and sign the lease as soon as possible.
- You are looking to move in the last week of September of October 1st.
- You are not looking to bring additional animals.

I am 23 and work at a startup tech company. I also love theatre/ acting. I’m really clean and have a bunny! She's litter trained and very friendly. She doesn’t smell at all and is like living with a cross between a dog and a cat! I love to have a nice relationship with roommates and am always down for a wine and game night! Always down to see a show too! The only things I am strict about are cleanliness and communication. You must be clean and drama free!
The two largest requests I have is to be clean and drama free! I am very clean and require roommates that are respectful of the shared spaces (e. g. cleaning up dishes when you are done eating/cooking, taking turns cleaning the common areas, cleaning up after yourself in general). Additionally, no smoking of any kind. Occasional alcohol/ wine nights are fine! Guests are fine but no huge parties in the room, we have plenty of amenity space for that! Generally if people are coming over we should all give each other a heads up! Friends being over on the weekends is preferable because of the crazy work week. Partners staying over is fine within reason. We wouldn’t want a fourth roommate, but also understand occasional overnight visits. I have a long-term, long distance boyfriend myself that will be visiting occasionally.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have a bunny rabbit who is very friendly and litter trained. She requires room to run around so you must be okay with having an extra fluffy roommate as well! She does not smell at all and her litter is cleaned every night. Her name is Clara and she loves hopping around sharing smoothies! Because of the bunny, no additional pets please.
