Spacious Downstairs with Private Entrance & Bathro

About the Space:
The private basement in our home is available for rent in the beginning of November! It has a private entrance, private bathroom and your own entrance to the backyard.

The space is MASSIVE. There’s more than enough room to have a bedroom, a living area AND a working area.

Upstairs is where me and my other roommates live, along with the shared kitchen and dining area. The downstairs is all yours!

Our roommate is moving out at the beginning of NOVEMBER so we’re looking for someone to take over her space. The space would be UNFURNISHED. We will be signing a new one-year lease on December 1st, so your name would be on the lease.

Side note: electric, gas and wi-fi are additional fees! I would say it averages to be about $70 per person, per month (more in the winter, less in the nicer months). Washer, dryer, dishwasher are included! Utilities are located upstairs and shared by all roommates.

About the neighborhood:
We live in Crown Heights, just one street away from Eastern Parkway. The 3/4 train takes literally one minute to walk to - we’re off of the Utica stop. Just down the street is Lincoln Terrace Park (also literally a minute away) and there’s a community garden on our street as well.

About us:
You would have two other roommates - I’m a 30 yr-old graphic designer and illustrator. My pronouns are she/her. I’ve lived in Brooklyn for over 5 years and I love it. I spend the week working from home - on freelance jobs and my own personal art. During the week I keep it pretty low-key, and on weekends I love to try out new bars and restaurants with friends.

My roommate is a 27 yr-old nanny and student at FIT. Her pronouns are she/her. Her schedule is packed with school and work, so she’s usually out of the house during the week.

We love to entertain when we get the chance. Our backyard is large (for NY standards), and we have a grill, a hammock, a fire pit and lots of seating, so we want to have more BBQ’s once it’s warm again, and we’d love for you to join!

About you:
We’re really open to living with anyone roughly in our age range. We’re just looking for someone we vibe with. We love our home to be calm, clean, and relaxing (with the occasional entertaining of friends). We’re looking for someone that feels the same!
