Come be my roommate in Crown Heights!

Hi! I'm a graphic designer, actor, director and playwright looking for an awesome person to move into my second, unfurnished bedroom. I have a friendly 6lb teacup Maltipoo who mostly stays in my room or wherever I am.

The room has a huge closet, and large windows that open out. The apartment is a sunny, cozy 2 bedroom with hardwood floors, large windows, a dishwasher, nice sized fridge, bluetooth speakers, virtual doorman buzzer, and heat/AC units in every room. Rooms are 14.5x8 - room for a Twin XL/Full bed, desk, and dresser/bookshelves (the photo of the room seems like the window is right next to that building, but it's actually across the street. Plenty of sky).

The building itself is only about 2.5 years old, and I'm the second tenant this apartment has had. Bldg has a laundry room, elevator, gym multiple tenant lounges (one with a mini library and one with a pool table), rooftop access, outdoor patios, secured bike room, a great live-in super, and friendly neighbors. There is a beautiful park a block away (lots of grass, playground, tennis courts, bball courts, and baseball diamond), which is great if you want a little nature and peace but don't want to travel too far, and an express subway four blocks away. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Barclays Center, and I'm just 1 express stop away from the Brooklyn Museum. There is also a great bike path four blocks away on Eastern Parkway. This building is truly a hidden gem.

About me: I’m an extroverted introvert, am into indoor gardening (herbs and vegetables), and I love to cook. I drink occasionally and am a non-smoker/non-drug user. I try very hard to respect privacy and boundaries. I'd love to have a movie or dinner night every now and then with a roommate just to keep it fun, but am also understanding if flatmates need space.

I'm typically into keeping common spaces clean and even more so lately due to the pandemic. Would love to live with someone with a similar vibe (hand washing, etc). I'm fully vaccinated!

Cost to move in: 1st month; Sec. Deposit ($1,275). Available Sept 1st (flex).
