Come be my roommate in Crown Heights!

Hi! I'm a graphic designer, actor, director and playwright looking for an awesome person to move into my second, unfurnished bedroom. I have a friendly 6lb teacup Maltipoo who mostly stays in my room or wherever I am.

The room has a huge closet, and large windows that open out. The apartment is a sunny, cozy 2 bedroom with hardwood floors, large windows, a dishwasher, nice sized fridge, bluetooth speakers, virtual doorman buzzer, and heat/AC units in every room.

The building itself is only about 18 months old, and I'm the second tenant this apartment has had. Bldg has a laundry room, elevator, gym and tenant lounge with a pool table, rooftop access, secured bike room, a great live-in super, and friendly neighbors. There is a beautiful park a block away (lots of grass, playground, tennis courts, bball courts, and baseball diamond), which is great if you want a little nature and peace but don't want to travel too far, and an express subway five blocks away. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Barclays Center, and I'm just 1 express stop away from the Brooklyn Museum. There is a great bike path on Eastern Parkway, which is only five blocks away. This building is truly a hidden gem.

More about me: Aside from acting and occasionally directing, I also write plays, screenplays, and the occasional essay. I?m an extroverted introvert, E5, and I love to cook. I drink occasionally and am a non-smoker/non-drug user. I?m fairly laid back overall, try very hard to respect privacy and boundaries, and prefer open, honest communication. I have a dark sense of humor (love British comedy) and am an avid film fan. I have a ton of DVD's and digital movies which I'm happy to share with whomever moves in and I also have a ton of books on a wide variety of topics. Basically, I'm an information glutton. I'd be happy to have a movie or dinner night every now and then with a roommate just to keep it fun, but am also understanding if flatmates need their space.

I'm typically into keeping common spaces clean and even more so lately due to the pandemic. Would love to live with someone with a similar vibe.

Cost to move in: 1st month (discounted to half) & Sec. Deposit ($1,200). Available Sept. 1 (or Oct. 1) Long-term.
