1br in a 2br apt in Clinton Hill/Bed Stuy

Hello!

My room in Bed Stuy/Clinton Hill is coming up for rent from now onwards. I have already paid for Jan, so if you can commit to taking over the lease, you can have the rest of this month free :) It's on Lafayette Av x Bedford Av, one block from the Bedford-Nostrand G stop. It takes about 25 mins to get to downtown Manhattan (take G to the A at Hoyt) - I work in Soho, so take that route, and it's not too bad.

It's a two bed apt. You'd be living with a wonderful woman, a waitress and student. She works weekends and some evenings, so if you have a 9-5 type job, you'll have the apt to yourself most of the time. She's super kind, respectful, and friendly - looking for someone the same to be her new roomie. She also has a little dog named Spencer. He's very friendly, and has lived with other dogs before (and would love some company if you have your own doggie).

The apt is spacious and light. Every room has large windows. There's a dishwasher (life saver) and sizable stove/oven. There's also central A/C and heat, which means the apt stays a consistent temp throughout hottest summer days and coldest winter nights.

Your new bedroom is a decent size - easily size for a queen bed, book shelves, and a writing desk (as I currently have it laid out). There's a large window so lots of light. It's at the opposite end of the apt to the other bedroom, so you won't be awoken by each other's morning alarms! The room has one in-built closet in the room, and another just outside the room (so loads of storage space).

The neighborhood is great. It's bar/coffee shop/restaurant central. Truly spoilt for choice for places to socialize. Multiple laundry services within 3 block radius. It's a 20min walk to Fort Greene park, which is super pretty, BAM for theatre/dance/cinema, and multiple cool bookshops (being a book lover, this will be hard to leave!).

Landlord needs 1 month security deposit & 1st month rent. They will also need credit check and proof of employment & income. Lease runs to August, and can be easily renewed if you'd like to stay longer.
