Room in Bushwick, Brooklyn

Hello all. My roommate is leaving her room and we need someone to take over her lease from March 1 until September. We live in Bushwick, Brooklyn, off the J train. The rent is $1,000 a month and the security deposit is $850. You have to pass a background check and give proof of income to our landlord.

She says she is leaving furniture, so it can be furnished if you want. She will leave her bed and dresser for $200. We can also get rid of that stuff if you do not want it. We are in the ground floor and basement of a brownstone style building, a walk up. The apartment is 2 bed, 1 bath. There is a big kitchen, and a basement. There is a dish washer and a clothes washer and dryer in unit. We pay electricity and gas, but water is included. The open room is $1,000 a month. My boyfriend and I live in the second bedroom.

Located off the Halsey stop on the J train. Very reliable transportation into Manhattan. There is also a grocery store right around the corner. In the pictures, her room has clothes everywhere. Sorry about that, she will clean up!
