1 Bedroom in 3 Bedroom - Prospect Park - Creative

Hello!

We’re looking for a 3rd roommate for our 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom, apartment in Prospect Park South. It would be a sublease - our current roommate just got a job in California and will be leaving at the end of January, but his lease runs through July 1st. The room will be available starting February 1st., but we can discuss a shorter or longer stay, depending on what everyone wants.

The Room:

$700/month with utilities ranging between about $60 and $80 per month (includes internet). First and last month to move in. The room measures 7.5' by 16', has a window and closet. (Dog pictured is very sweet and cute, but will be leaving for California with his owner.)

The Apartment:

3-bedroom, 1 bathroom, big walk-in storage closet, high ceilings and hardwood floors. The apartment has a well-lit and spacious kitchen/common area, and there is plenty of cabinet and shelf space for dry food, etc.

About us:

I’m 37, male, classical musician and music teacher, vegan. I practice music in my room, but keep it to reasonable hours. I’ve lived here for about 2 ½ years - it’s a been a really peaceful, enjoyable, and relaxing space.

The other roommate is 32, male, a school teacher, omnivore. Likes to bike. Very nice guy.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, level-headed, respectful, clean, and communicates well. We want to maintain a relaxed, positive environment. If you're creative/artistic, that’s a plus! All people welcome :)

The Neighborhood:

Awesome neighborhood, very diverse, with tons of grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, cafes, shops, laundromats. Literally 3 blocks from Prospect Park! (A blessing during the pandemic). Also 2 blocks from the subway (B, Q) and very near major bus routes, so quick ride to downtown Brooklyn, Park Slope, Brighton Beach, and many other neighborhoods. 30 minutes to Union Square.
