Move in date October 1st. This is a SMALL furnished room (9’ x 11’) that currently has a Full Size bed and spacious dresser. There is a nice size closet with storage cabinets above. It is ideal for an active and busy person with minimal belongings. Someone who wants a quiet, clean, safe and drama-free home to return to at the end of the day. It is not ideal for someone who works from home or spends most of their free time at home.

Under 10 min walk to Prospect Park, GAP Farmers Market, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, BMA , many great restaurants and cafes. Also close to 2/ 3 train, 4/ 5, B/Q.

******BUILDING******
The building was built in 1920. My apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 4 floor walk-up building. There are 4 apartments on each floor. Many neighbors have been living here for several decades. It is a friendly, safe, community.

******About Me******
I am a Health Educator with H&H Hospitals. I work full-time from home M-F 9:00am-5:00pm counseling and teaching classes. The living room is my office during the day. Because of this, I need a roommate who works full-time outside the home during these same days and hours.

I love cooking and would like one of two scenarios:

1) A roommate who doesn't cook much.
2) Someone who is open to having some kitchen overlap time. Side by side cooking or joint cooking.

I am friendly and talkative but I also have a quiet side. Personal down-time is important. I tend to be an “early-to-bed-early-to-rise-person”. You don’t need to keep the same hours as me, but it would be nice to have more quietude in the evenings after 10:30. I like things tidy & clean but I’m not obsessive about it.

You are a financially stable working professional or a graduate student. Someone who is friendly and understands how to be a team player. You keep the shared spaces clean, tidy and remember to help take out the trash :) The apartment is small, so I want a situation where we both feel very comfortable in each other's company. Respectful, optimistic, healthy boundaries are important.
