Hey friends! We're looking to sublet a room in our cozy 3 bedroom apartment in East Williamsburg - move in 1/1, with the option to possibly renew after 6 months!
Your Room: Cozy room overlooking Graham Ave. and a few cute roof dogs. The room is 12x8.5 and renovated with new wooden floors. The room gets lots of natural light and is very quiet. It can be unfurnished, or you can buy the furniture from the person living there now if you prefer! Utilities run about 80/month per person, with a bit of a spike in the summer due to air conditioning. Rooftop access with slick sunset views.
$900 + $50 approx.(utilities) per month
Month of Jan ($900) & security deposit ($900) to secure the room & move-in = $1800
P. S. The pictures do not do this room justice. It might look small but it has s p a c e, especially if you choose to switch out the mattress to a full size instead of a queen.
Common Spaces: Bathroom and Living room/Kitchen. All the common spaces are cozy! But each individual room has ample space for everyone. We want to zhuzh up the living room in a way that all three of us can feel comfortable hanging out. There will be a lovely seat and a new couch here, open to any other design ideas!
The Building: 3-floor walk-up, no elevator.
The Area: 4-minute walk to Montrose L, 7 minutes to Broadway G, and 12 minutes to the Lorimer JM stop. Walk three steps onto Graham Ave. and you’ve got bars, restaurants, laundry...everything you need. Next to an outdoor garden that you can rent a plot in the summer and community center (It's a voting location AND has a free gym inside!)
