Entire 1 bedroom apartment in Park Slope

Ad ref# 102064451

Please email me to see a video tour of the apartment full furnished.

I am looking for someone to take over my lease for my 1 bedroom apartment in Park Slope on December 1st. The lease expires on April 30th, 2021 (so it will be a 5-month commitment). If you are looking to move in after Dec 1, the rent will be prorated for whenever you want to move in. You will also have the option of renewing the lease on May 1, 2021 at the same monthly rent.

I am moving to a different country but have lived in this apartment since May of 2018 and it's been such a wonderful place to live. The neighborhood of Park Slope is lovely, safe, and friendly. Everything you need is immediately available in the neighborhood, including a laundromat that is the next block over, the 7 Av F/G train stop which is 4 blocks away, and Prospect Park, which is a 7 minute walk away. The building itself is prewar, and the community here is friendly and quiet. There is roof access with a stunning view of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

The apartment is on the 4th floor, so the view is great and it gets amazing sunlight year-round. There are four windows in the apartment, all of which bring in great light. The kitchen is large, includes a dishwasher, and has tons of cabinet space. There are two full closets, one in the bedroom and one in the hallway across from the bathroom. I will also be giving the next tenant the air conditioning unit I bought for this apartment. I also have several pieces of furniture/appliances that I am happy to give (for free) to the next tenant (please see above videos of furnished apartment for most of these pieces), including:

- a $500 8x10 rug from Urban Outfitters
- a $200 vanity with mirror and $80 matching chair from Urban Outfitters
- a gold-trimmed side table
- a large gold-trimmed mirror
- a small gold-trimmed mirror with hooks for keys
- a wooden, minimalist bed frame
- a wooden TV stand
- a large flat-screen TV
- mattress
- microwave
- electric kettle
- Nespresso machine and Nespresso milk frother
- plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and cutlery
- full-length over the door mirror
- one tall standing lamp
- one bedside lamp

The price for an apartment in this neighborhood is a steal. I am currently paying $2150 monthly to live here but am looking for the next tenant to pay $1500, which includes heat and hot water (gas and electricity usually run around $40). To move in, the landlord will require first month's rent and a security deposit of $1500. Also please note that the photo of the window looking into the kitchen from the living room shows shelves but these were removed. Please see the attached video tours to see how the apartment looks fully furnished.
