Room for Rent in 2-Bedroom Apt in South Slope

I am moving out of state and looking for someone to take over my lease from August 1 to November 31. Four month commitment. Must have verifiable income and OK credit to pass landlord's background check.

About the Space:
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with a huge living room and nice sized kitchen.

Your bedroom is about 14' by 11' with two huge windows and a giant double closet that measures 7' x 3.5'. The room comes unfurnished, but all of my furinure is for sale.

What's nice about the apartment is the space. We have the entire second floor of a 3-story apartment building. Our bedrooms are each on opposite sides of the apartment with the living room in the middle separating us, so it feels like we each have our own private wing.

What I love most about this apartment is the exposed brick, huge light filled windows and the back yard!

About your roommate:
Madison is the best roommate I've ever had! She's tidy, quiet and considerate. She works from home, but mostly keeps to herself in her bedroom with her cat Hero.

About the Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in South Slope on the R train. There's also lots of street parking. It's an easy commute into the city, but unless I'm going into Manhattan for work I rarely leave the neighborhood. There are tons of great bars, restaurants and cafes right in walking distance. Plus some really great grocery stores and wine shops. There's no laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat on the corner.

About the Terms:
$1000m plus 50% of the utilities (gas, electric, WiFi). Utilities run about $55/month each. First months rent and a security deposit required at move-in. Four month lease.

Fine Print:
Proof of income (40x rent annually), credit report and references are required for the application.
