Looking for a Roommate- 2 bedroom in South Slope

Hi all! My current roommate is moving out so I’m looking for a new one! Move in anytime from October 1st to November 1st- I’m super flexible. (LGBTQ+ friendly)

The apartment I currently live in is right off 4th ave and 2 blocks from the 25th street R train. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, one full bath, large Living room and an eat in kitchen. (And unofficial rooftop access). Bedroom can easily fit a dresser and desk with a full sized bed and has a full sized closet. The apartment is in the back of the building so overall it’s quiet- though you can hear the kids next door playing outside but it’s mostly cute giggles. One avenue over to 5th and there’s a lot of bars and restaurants in walking distance.
Heat and hot water included. Other utilities will be split evenly. Landlord is fantastic- we will be signing a new lease. (Please excuse the mess in the photos- particularly of the bedroom!)

I’m Jessie and I would be your roommate! I like my home to feel warm and welcoming- in decor and people. I’m pretty open and hope to live with someone I can also be friends with. I’m big on communication to figure out what’s needed to create a great living situation. More about me: I’m 28 and have lived in New York my whole life but in Brooklyn for 3. I’m always binging some tv show and open for recommendations. I’m pretty artsy and work on different projects- or I’m thinking what to work on next. I can get loud but am a relatively quiet roommate.
