Roommate to share of a 2 bedroom Apartment

Hello potential roommate,

I am looking for a like-minded individual to fill a bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment complex on the first floor with a move-in date of August 15th. The apartment has a decent size living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The bedroom is not furnished. It is to show the potential of what can be done with the room. The bed that you see is a queen-size bed.

The apartment is located in the neighborhood of Ditmas Park. It has a charming suburb vibe with spacious streets filled with trees and picturesque Victorian houses. There are local bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and a laundromat that is all within walking distance. The closest subway from the apartment is the Q train on Cortelyou. It takes about 5 minutes to walk there from the apartment and takes about 35 minutes to get into Manhattan. You can also take the express bus BM1, 2, or 3 into Manhattan located down the block.

I am a self-employed artist who graduated from Pratt Institute. Also, I currently work full-time at a landscape design company as a carpenter/gardener assistant. In my downtime, I like working on art projects, tending to my indoor plants, or reading books. I have an obsession with the beach and enjoy surfing well into the winter. I am clean, friendly, and respectful of other people's space. Socially, I would consider myself to be an ambivert. I feel that communication is key when it comes to sharing a space. I drink occasionally but I don’t allow smoking indoors.

Rent will be on a month to month but I hope to keep the room filled until the lease is up in May. The rent will be set at 1050.00. Utilities, such as Internet, ConEd, and National Grid will be split up each month. To hold your spot I will be asking for the first and last month's rent.
