You can fit a full size bed, small dresser and small desk. The bathroom has a sky light! Access to shared backyard with table and chairs and beautiful fig tree! Utilities separate (i. e. electricity, gas and internet). Apartment is equipped with Verizon Fios, high speed internet and AC in the living room.

My ideal roommate will be LGBTQ+ friendly and willing to celebrate differences! I'm looking for an independent, responsible, kind and respectful individual with good credit looking to sign on to the lease with me for a year and with the opportunity to extend if you wish. This is a shared space, so open communication and infusing positivity into the space is welcome.

I have been living in this apartment since 2012 and I'm happy to call it home. I self identify as a Sri Lankan/Korean, bisexual/pansexual, gender non-conforming person. My preferred pronouns are they/them. The site doesn't allow me enough options to correctly locate myself! I like to keep the apartment clean and tidy. There are times where I would love to sit and strike up conversations and other times I will be focused on my work or relaxing and may keep to myself. Must be okay living with me and a reptile. I have a tiny corn snake who stays secure in his tank. I love to be outdoors, go running in Prospect Park, lay on the beach and spend time with friends and family. I have been working from home until further notice due to COVID-19. I work as a Therapist at a Community Mental Health Clinic, so I will be making lots of phone calls from home. Kensington, Brooklyn is a neighborhood located south of Prospect Park and Green-Wood Cemetery. Entrance to F/G train on the same block as apartment. Located by Food town, 24 hour laundry mat, 24 hour produce mart, Walgreens, nail salons, deli's and 99cent stores. Post office is directly across the street. Walking distance to Prospect Park.
