We advertise in Brooklyn because there is a higher concentration of our tribe looking to live there, who, like a couple of us, had not previously considered living on this piece of the Rock. The Captain Barnes family is looking for a new member to join our community - preferably a female to bring more yin to our gang.

Are you someone looking for a collective, creative experience, a grounding place to call home and a platform for your ideas and dreams? This is a place to expand and evolve alongside a supportive community doing on the road less travelled. We are interested in real change makers, driven by a love for life and others.

It is also an opportunity to explore any medium you like ? try cooking in a commercial kitchen, get your green thumbs growing veggies and herbs in our versatile garden, try DJing, painting, plastering or anything you set your mind to.

The bedrooms available have sweeping views of the waterfront and plenty of light and fresh air. Huge closets, 12' ceilings, hardwood floors and fireplaces. Both rooms are completely furnished with skilfully carved walnut furniture circa 1850.

Our house is located in Mariners Harbor - on the soon not to be, forgotten borough of Staten Island. With enough distance from the city to truly recharge and regain peace of mind. Commuting takes about an hour in to Manhattan via Bus and Ferry.
Driving: you can get to Brooklyn or Manhattan in 30 minutes. Please contemplate whether the location will suit your commute before contacting.

Tio: early thirties male designer, who spends his time styling and building a happier world, who knows how to squeeze a lemon for all it's worth- then use the rinds to make a fine limoncello.

The Thespian: early twenties woman, a blushful bundle of energetic Britishness, ready to drop a Shakespeare performance or some disco tunes on a dime and always leading by the light.
