V big room, roof, backyard, friendly roommates!

Hello! We have a room available in our duplex apartment.

We are looking for a housemate for a roughly 10' x 17' room with very large windows.

Our apartment is really rare!
- - Roof access with 360 views of the city
- Washer/dryer in unit
- Dishwasher
- Huge backyard with large garden (and lots of herbs and stuff to share)
- Duplex with large living space downstairs (living/dining room)
- New building with all-new everything, rain-style showerheads, etc.
- Garden also has grill, fire pit, patio heater, and lots of space
- Plenty of bike storage space
- Extra storage for the building plus extra-large additional washers & dryers downstairs)

We're open to long-term subletters or preferably at least a five-month stay (landlord does have to approve you).

APARTMENT is a four-bedroom, but doesn't ever feel like there are too many people around - roommates so far have always tended to have different schedules and the apartment is big. We also have two fridges! There are 2.5 bathrooms (we, the couple, have our own en suite).

Utilities are split four ways.

ABOUT US:
We're a couple (but not annoying, we promise) who work in the music industry and in editing. We like to cook and garden. Our roommates work in web design and marketing. They also happen to play some music, though no one plays loud in the house! (Or late at night.) We're all easygoing and accommodating, and we're happy to either hang out with roommates or just do our own thing. Our other roommate is moving out to live with her boyfriend.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
We're an:
-- 8-minute walk from the A, C trains at Utica Ave.
-- 12-minute walk to the J at either Halsey or Gates.
-- 10-minute bike ride to the heart of Bushwick.

Our area of Stuyvesant Heights has great restaurants, bars and cafes like the Trad Room, Natural Blend, Turtles All the Way Down, Nana Ramen, L'Antagoniste, Mama Fox, Saraghina and Grandchamps. There's a grocery store at the end of the block, and local parks and recreational facilities around (like public tennis and basketball courts.)

LOOKING FOR:
We're looking for friendly, easygoing, respectful people. We're pretty clean but definitely not OCD, and understanding that people get busy. We've all had experience living with roommates and are good neighbors. Everybody's cool with doing our own thing or hanging out if we feel like it. Some random interests include cycling, movies, and cooking.
