The room: $1068 for a large room (12.5 ft x 9.5ft) w/ large built-in closet with drawers and storage up to the ceiling (it?s amazing!). The room currently fits a queen sized bed, with lots of natural sunlight, and hardwood floors. Living space fully furnished, Bedroom is unfurnished. For hold 1 month security, + 1st month rent for move-in.

Pro-rated rent available for month of February.

The apartment: Quiet, 3rd floor walk-up near 4th Ave & 8th, Brooklyn. We are the top floor of the building, so no mystery noises from upstairs neighbors! Spacious living room also with hard wood floors and chandelier, shared kitchen and bathroom, and thermostat for central heat. Water is included but the remainder of the utilities are not. Laundry is on the corner of the same block.
The landlord and his family live downstairs which means no parties allowed, but he fixes things when needed and takes good care of the building.

The neighborhood: Very safe and quickly developing area on the border of Park Slope/Gowanus industrial and arts district. One block away from prime Park Slope restaurants, stores, coffee and pie shops!! One block from F, R and G trains and only two R train stops from Barclays Center (Target, Best Buy, Uniqlo and more) and D, N, B, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5, & LIRR trains. Laundromat on the corner. NYSports club, YMCA, Prospect Park, post office, CVS, Chase Bank, and Whole Foods are all within walking distance (and much more; there's too much to list!).

About us: We are two young, professional women who both work 9-5 jobs in Manhattan. The vibe of the apartment is friendly and communicative, but we also like to do our own thing during our evenings/weekends. If you are looking to find a quiet, friendly apartment to have as your home-base in a prime Brooklyn neighborhood, then this is the apartment for you.

About you: You must be mature and financially stable. No smokers, no pets, and no drugs.
