Minimum two month sublet mid-August - Oct.

This is a minimum two-month sublet with somewhat flexible move-in and out dates. Our apartment is a large sunny place with an abundance of charm and character like hardwood parquet floors, a built-in hutch and lots of beautiful woodwork. The living room is comfortable with lots of natural light. There?s a nice-sized kitchen, one bathroom and a small back deck.

My room is 168 sq. ft. with two windows for lots of natural light and some remarkable architectural features like a built in floor to ceiling mirror and pocket doors. It?s fully furnished, including a TV with an option for cable, a wardrobe, dresser and double bed.

We're located one block from the F and G trains at the 7th Ave stop, one block from Prospect Park and one block from the main shopping streets of 7th Ave. and 9th Street. We?re on a quiet street in lively neighborhood with plenty of choices for shopping, laundry, restaurants and bars.

This is a short term single occupancy sublet and I'm looking for a female subletter who will be clean, responsible, respectful, gay-friendly, and a good communicator. You'll be living with three other women who share those qualities. The culture in the apartment is friendly but respectful of each other's space and privacy. We sometimes share a drink and conversation on the back deck or in the living room, but there's no pressure to socialize. Everyone pitches in to keep the apartment tidy and we'll want the subletter to do the same. I'm looking for fill the room for all of September and October, but there is some flexibility to move in mid-August and stay through the first week of November. I'm asking for one month's rent and a security deposit up front. The listed price includes rent, wifi, utilities (except for cable, which is optional) and monthly household supplies. I'll provide a copy of our lease so that you are aware of my rental terms with the landlord and will ask you to sign a simple sublet agreement. I'll also ask for references, rental history and proof of employment. I look forward to meeting you and, hopefully, hosting you in my home.
