This beautiful apartment share in Kensington is for someone interested in cooperative, no drama living with another person in a modern environment which is meticulously cared for.

Since this is an apartment "Share" we share all expenses used by both of us, (such as dish detergent, purchases for cleaning etc) , but buy our own food and personals. We also share the regular cleaning of common areas and keep our own rooms clean. We have all kitchen and dining supplies and we both take responsibility for everything we are sharing safely.

Rent reduction possible if our interests in cooperative living are similar. Large, sunlit 12' X 17' bedroom. Your room has 1/2 refrigerator, microwave, tea kettle, toaster, Metro shelf unit with wooden work surface.

This is a newly-renovated top-floor apartment in a quiet, safe, elevator building. Your bedroom is on a corner, has three windows (one with AC unit) and a closet.

We use AC in the spring summer fall times. Winter heat is not like older buildings with overblown heating. Windows stay closed in the winter comfortably. New housemate will be used to and comfortable with this type of cooling/heating.

Possibility of semi-furnished or not... your choice. Lovely kitchen with dishwasher, island, and new fridge, shared bathroom with deep tub, and add-on bidet (!), and a spacious living room with lush tropical plants. You?ll be sharing with a dynamic, active, Buddhist, thoughtful and caring 60-year-old, full-time Trader Joe's employee.

Laundry in the basement. 10-minute walk to Newkirk Plaza B/Q train stop in one direction, 18th Ave. F train stop in the other direction.

Please note that we have changed the decor and furniture so most of the photos show the furniture and decor which was in place when family lived here. We will meet here and discuss your preferences for decor if you have any furniture, so we can both share all the common areas happily.
