On Dec 1, I am moving into a delightful apartment in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Location is 2 blocks from the G Train Bedford Nostrand stop. The room for rent is shown here, with windows. Looking to share with a female roommate. It can be rented furnished or unfurnished. The shared space is ample for living room, music room and dining room. Best feature is the massive, private backyard, right through the kitchen door. I hope my roommate and I make great use of this asset whenever weather permits. You are welcome to invite friends over and feel like you really have a backyard in NYC! I will be buying a grill, already have outdoor seating, and I love to garden. Shared bathroom, full bath. Kitchen is narrow, but ample room for cooking and decent cabinet space. The room for rent faces Skillman street. I welcome musicians! There will eventually be a Steinway 1949 upright in the shared space, but a keyboard and amp until I can get the piano there. I will be bringing furniture, lamps etc for all common areas. I don't have TV but it's negotiable if you want that in the common area. I do not have access to the space before December 1 for exact measurements, but I estimate the bedroom for rent to be about 100 sq feet. There is an attractive fireplace mantel too. I am a musician and entertainer who works in the Event business. Female, mid 50's. I am in the process of selling my house in the Hudson Valley where I have lived for 15 years. Before that I was in Williamsburg and the East Village. I'm from NYC, extremely excited to get back. I am respectful of people's need for space and privacy. I have been working as a freelancer for many years, now seeking full time work at Arts Organizations in Brooklyn. I am in transition, grateful that so much of my work is already in the NY area but yes I do work "from home" a great deal at the moment. I have rescued three domestic rabbits, and they will be headquartered in my room, but once I secure the borders of the garden they will be able to be out there too. Looking for a roommate who is ok with free range rabbits in the common space. I am open to your cat, but no dogs. I love keeping an attractive, uncluttered household, especially in a small shared space. No smoking indoors but in the backyard is fine. I will be having guests overnight occasionally in the living room and I welcome you to do the same.
