The room is for one person, no couples, and is located in Bushwick Brooklyn in a well maintained pre war apartment building. If you are interested I would like to know about you as an individual. The neighborhood:
It's a quick five minute walk to the train station. The J/Z train at Gates Avenue Station gets you into NYC lower Manhattan in 20 minutes. The J/Z trains connects to the A/C/M/L /F/ 4/5/6 trains. There is on street parking.
Terms and room info:
Rental term is month to month. A three month minimum. The room is furnished.
Furnished includes a bed, bedding, computer chair, desk/table, night stand and a lamp. Also a window and closet.
The room is 11x10 ft, has a single bed, it's private and has a door that locks with a key.
Roommate has access to livingroom, bathroom and kitchen areas. Also, access to the in unit washer and dryer.
You would be sharing the apartment with me, a female former early childhood education teacher. I am friendly, kind and considerate of others. I respect your privacy.
I consider home to be a clean and safe sanctuary where we each do our part keeping the place clean and safe. Very important!
Roommates should be:
-Considerate.
-Respect each other's privacy.
-Create no Drama.
-Do not smoke inside.
-No smoking outside the building or in the lobby.
-No drugs or alcohol abuse.
-Be responsible for your guests.
-Occasional guests are ok with advance notice given because I don't want to open my bedroom door and see a stranger coming out of the bathroom.
Amenities:
Close to pubic transportation, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, banks, post office, and pharmacies.
Utilities include gas for cooking and electricity. Utilities are included in the rent. There is no charge for heat and hot water.
In regards to COVID-19, everyone should want to be safe and should be covid conscious.
There is a required $10 monthly fee for cleaning products, toilet paper and paper towels that is due when the rent is paid.
To Apply you must::
-Be able to pay rent on time.
-View the apartment in person and complete a no fee application.
-provide two pieces of valid ID. One ID must be a valid State issued ID.
-You must pass a background check. A credit report is not required.
-Have steady verifiable employment.
-Have at least one personal reference and one professional reference is required.
Expectations:
-No drama
-Respect roommates' personal property, space and privacy.
-Keep the place clean, cooperate with rotating cleaning schedule.
-Unfortunately due to allergies no pets.
-No smoking.
