Lovely room - charming apt - great location

Furnished room 9'x12' in my apartment available February 1st.
This is a warm, friendly, homey, and supportive environment in a great location. It's clean, tidy and safe. We respect one another's need for privacy while looking out for each other. It's a lovely landmark neighborhood with tree-lined streets and all the amenities you could want - shops, restaurants, cafes, subway - close by. The apartment itself is graceful and quaint, located on the ground floor of a four-story building a few hundred feet down from Prospect Park. Laundry room in basement. Bikes and luggage can also be stored in the basement. F/G trains around the corner. We are also accessible to the R and the 2/3 trains. Figure 20 min. to lower Manhattan, 35 min. to mid-town.

The apartment has three bedrooms. We share kitchen, bath, and living room. It's a quiet house, a haven with a peaceful atmosphere, and I am looking for someone who does not need to invite friends or family over, as we do our socializing outside the home.

I am an older woman, a writer and an artist working at home, and would prefer someone who work or studies outside the home.

Requirements to move in: First month and last month plus references.
