I’m looking for a woman/nonbinary person to sublet my room for a month or two! It's basically your own private floor in our Bed-Stuy duplex, and it's HUGE. Available ASAP, ideally before March 1st.
About the Room: You get the entire lower floor to yourself (!) with your own entrance and half bath. It comes fully furnished with everything you might need - queen bed, desk setup with monitors, couch and TV, a mini fridge and microwave, and more!
Common Areas & Roommates: Upstairs you'll find the main common area, kitchen, and full bathroom, plus my two awesome roommates- Kayla works in TV production, hails from Houston Texas, and is low-key obsessed with Beyoncé and bookstores. Anjali is the sweetest soul from California, currently juggling acting school while applying to law schools.
Location + Building: We're in Bed-Stuy, off the A/C Utica Ave stop or J/Z Gates Ave stop. Malcolm X Blvd has tons of great restaurants, and the streets are lined with trees and brownstones. Building has laundry, a gym, and rooftop access!
Price: $1,550/month (this includes utilities!)
Some honest details: - Cat friendly! (But no dogs - roommate allergy) - It's a ground floor room, so no window - BUT the smart lights are actually really nice and you can set them however you like - Full disclosure about the couch: it's got character 😅 Leg is propped up with books and there's a patched spot I cover with a blanket, but it works! - WiFi is solid but Verizon service can be iffy downstairs. iMessage/FaceTime/WhatsApp work great though - One roommate WFH's upstairs, so just asking for reasonable noise levels during work hours
