Roomie needed in renovated 3BR with outdoor space

We are two 30-something men with a bedroom available in our 3 BR/2 Bath duplex apartment in Stuyvesant Heights (South-East Bed-Stuy) one block from the Utica Ave A/C express stop. The building features airy 9.5 foot ceilings, central air conditioning, in-building laundry, and roof and back-yard access!

The available bedroom is 11.5' x 12.5' with a sizable closet and large window. Bed frame and bookshelves available for free with the room (mattress potentially available to purchase from the outgoing roommate).

The apartment is a 3rd floor walkup (with one of the other bedrooms on the roof/4th floor) and has a large open common area set up as kitchen/living room. We have a gas range, dishwasher, and Optimum's Gigabit cable internet service.

Rent for the bedroom is $1025/month plus shared utilities (around $100/month). One month's rent as security deposit. The bedroom is available now and we'd like someone to move in by September 1. We're looking for a commitment to our full lease term (through Aug 31, 2021), but we're open to other offers.

Given the pandemic, we're seeking a roommate who takes social distancing seriously, will do their part to keep the apartment clean, and who will be a pleasant companion to share space with.
