Large bedroom in two-bedroom apartment

My art supplies and plants are currently in the room and I would move them out.

Hi, I am looking for short term leases for a large bedroom in Bay Ridge . It has two windows, a closet and has a separate entrance than the rest of the apartment. It comes with basic furniture - bed, desk, storage unit, reading chair, and a window A/C unit that currently lives in the closet. The kitchen has all the basic appliances and the bathroom has a tub.

I am a preschool teacher and work in Brooklyn. I keep the common spaces clean. My part of the apartment is separated from the kitchen by a doorway with a curtain. The apartment comes with a cat. He is friendly and stays in my part of the apartment and occasionally comes out into the kitchen for water, to beg for food or hide from thunderstorms in the bathroom.

The apartment is two blocks from the Bay Ridge Ave R stop and there is an express N stop one stop away. The street is very nice and it’s close to parks and the pier. There is a laundromat across the street and a large grocery store around the block. There are good food spots around and overall I really like the neighborhood.

Ideally I would like to live with someone who is clean and likes cats. The rent is $1,000 a month, utilities and WiFi included. This would be a flexible sublease, if we click then I think it can work long term, so it is ideal for someone who is looking for a bit of a fresh start in the city.
