Your room is spacious and cozy: fits a queen size bed, has two lovely windows and a fire escape with a beautiful view, room for a dresser & a desk/office nook, has a large closet with high shelving, etc. Hardwood floors throughout, all rooms in the house are fully furnished besides your room, BUT if you are looking for some furnishings for your bedroom: I have an extra full sized bed, a comfy desk chair, hangers/shoe rack/storage compartments, all optional for your use.

Living room is equipped with a projector/screen and a sick sound system that creates the perfect setting for the movie theatre vibe you've always dreamed of! Hooked up to my PS4 which has Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, Amazon Prime Video, etc. I am a lover of books and have quite a collection if you're a reader! Lots of plants thriving in the light filled kitchen that is fully equipped and has a big pantry. The bathroom has a shower and tub if you enjoy taking nice relaxing baths from time to time!

The building is on the quiet side of the block, still just hundreds of feet from fruit markets and convenient stores (many open 24/7) --- buses/train within 2 blocks! Less than a 3 minute walk to the R line, easy transfer to N/D express lines at 59th and 36th street, local/express buses, Bay Ridge Ferry, local cabs, etc. If you drive and are worried about parking -- my friends and past roomies rarely ever have trouble finding a spot! (I'm a good luck charm ;) We have lots of privacy and everyone in this building is friendly.

We'll share the living spaces with a gorgeous, super chill, sweet cat who is definitely the queen of the house but never acts tyrannous. She keeps to herself often and is very clean! Most of the time you'll barely notice her aside from her cuteness.

There are so many fantastic markets nearby so it's easy to find reasonably priced fresh produce/groceries, but if you're not into cooking there are plenty of amazing restaurants in this scenic urban-with-a-suburban-feel neighborhood. Bay Ridge is a safe, diverse neighborhood that's not super expensive/gentrified (yet!)

Looking for a roommate who is competent, respectful, and considerate of sharing/maintaining a healthy living space. I'm all about direct/honest communication and prefer to work things out rather than let them fester.

For purposes of clarity and transparency, a sublease agreement must be signed which details the requirements/responsibilities for myself and whoever will be sharing this space with me. 420/lgbtq+ friendly a must! This is my fifth year in this apartment so every Spring I have the option to extend the lease if you are someone looking for something less short term!
