This is a fast growing artist community. Several photographers and filmmakers live just across the street from us. Also just a few blocks away is the Bronx Documentary Center, an international gallery specializing in documentary film and photography.

The open kitchen attached to our spacious living room makes this a great place to chill in. We have access to laundry in one of our neighboring buildings and a laundromat two blocks away with 80cents per pound drop-off service.

The commute is way faster than anyone could imagine when they think of the Bronx. It's 25 minutes to 14th Street. The best part abut this place might just be this train access. We're where the 2 & 5 EXPRESS TRAINS meet, so we have BOTH EAST SIDE & WEST SIDE MANHATTAN ACCESS. It's a short walk home from the train station along pedestrian packed 3rd Ave- or along the quieter Melrose Ave if you'd like to avoid the crowd.

There are four different grocery stores nearby, three within three blocks, three which carry ORGANIC FOODS. There are also several good restaurants in the area with lots of cheap eats and late night delivery.

There's a 24-hour Planet Fitness three blocks away. There is a Starbucks and a movie theater a few blocks north. There are a few cool bars and an indie coffee shops down 3rd Ave and Willis Ave.
