Huge Bedroom In 2 Bed In Bronx- No Security

Hi y'all! I have a room available for April 1st.

The room available is priced at $845 a month including heat, gas, and hot water. You would pay internet and electric. This usually is somewhere around $100 between the two a month, sometimes lower or higher. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY SECURITY.

I'm looking for someone to take my room in our 2 bed/1 bath apartment located in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, off of the 4/B/D station at 161st Yankee Stadium. The Yankees Stadium Metro North is also in walking distance.

Our apartment is a walk-up- up three flights- so it is NOT handicap accessible or particularly good for those with asthma (like me) or other health concerns that might be exacerbated by walking up and down multiple flights of stairs.

About the room: it's a HUGE room with two windows and access to the fire escape. I installed wall shelves that you can keep if you want. There is a double closet with a bar for hanging clothes and a shelf above the clothes bar, as well as overhead storage above the closet. I will be leaving my window AC unit which was installed by the super, so you won't sweat during the coming summer months. We have a separate kitchen that could easily fit a small table, as I will be taking my baking rack and cart pictured. The kitchen includes all working appliances, including a microwave, and lots of cabinet space.

About your roommate: You will be living with my current roommate! Michael is a black, cis gay man in his early thirties. He's a Capricorn, likes theatre, has an MFA in writing, and enjoys video games. He's an excellent communicator and would appreciate someone who is the same. He has a cat named Dante who is very sweet and affectionate, and loves to play, so you MUST be pet friendly.

The landlord's requirements are as follows, as you would need to take on the lease:
- $15k income & proof of employment
- good credit & rental history- proof of payment and a reference from a landlord or someone you subleased from
- proof of income (paystubs/bank statements)
- guarantors are also accepted as far as I know.

We are trying to keep in person viewings to a minimum because of COVID, so you would meet with Michael over video chat first and see how it goes.
