Lease pending

Hey there!
We’re a group of six friends (2 guys and 4 girls; mostly 20s, 1 30s) creating a fun, communal living situation across two apartments. We’re looking for two more housemates to join the group and complete our crew!

About the Apartment
4 Bed, 2 Bath in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland. Close to Whole Foods and a wide selection of bars and restaurants on Telegraph. It’s a 15-minute walk from MacArthur BART and there’s always easy street parking. Total rent is $4820. Rooms vary in size from 154 square feet to 187 square feet so exact rent will depend on the room.

Move In: January 15th

About us:
Most of us met in a co-living house in South Berkeley a few years ago, and after parting ways for about a year, we’re excited to move back in together. The four girls are already living in the apartment upstairs, and the two guys (us!) are going to move into the apartment downstairs. Together, we’re turning these two spaces into one big collective where we can share good times. We’re all about creating a shared space where everyone feels comfortable and can have fun.
- Magnus (24, he/him) is a mechanical engineer at a solar power start-up. He’s from the Netherlands and loves to travel, surf, ski, and any other form of working out. He also enjoys cooking and going out for drinks and parties.
- Trevor (27, he/him) is a software engineer at a research firm. In his free time he likes to bike, ski, read, play soccer and start personal projects he inevitably fails to finish.
- Ally (27, she/her), is a marketing & communications associate at a literacy nonprofit. She enjoys reading, writing, hot girl walks, crocheting, tea, crafting, baking, Taylor Swift, coworking at coffee shops, and befriending the neighborhood cats.
- Himja (27, she/her), is a family therapist for a foster youth nonprofit. She likes wine tastings, movie nights, new restaurants, not hiking, stand-up comedy, true crime podcasts, and driving to the South Bay for good Indian food.
- Sarah (37, she/her), is an assistant editor at Pixar and filmmaker. She loves writing, puzzles, anime, board games, and doing gay things. When she’s not making movie magic she rides her bike to cute spots!
- Labiba (23, she/her) is an Asian American program coordinator at a mental health nonprofit. She loves hanging out with her cats, cafe hopping, reading, painting, and spending time with friends and family.

What we’re looking for:
- 2 fun and chill people to join us and complete our collective
- Experience with shared living and contributing to household chores
- Down for group dinners, outings, and being part of the friend group, not just roommates
- Ready to help build a real community where everyone hangs out and enjoys each other’s company
