My kitty cat Freya (super sweet and playful) and I are looking for a compatible fit in an environment with open communication. I know living with people can be beautiful and challenging at times so want to assess compatibility to make this a peaceful atmosphere. LQBTQ+ Friendly

About The Space:
Room with walk-in closet available in 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom lower flat of Victorian duplex with an open floor plan in Oakland on borders of Emeryville and Berkeley. The house has a warm feel to it. Heated floors for winter-time. Screen door was recently installed and allows for good air flow and opens up the space during the summer. Near cafes, local shops and cupcake store.

$1375/month for base rent for 1 your room. Landlord gives a $50 discount for rent deposited by the first of the month. $90/month per person charge to cover water, gas, electric, trash. First month rent plus $1,375 security deposit. Available September 15, 2019. Lease term from September 15 to March 1, 2020, then stay on a month-to-month basis. Cat Friendly Home.

?New Roommate can have One INDOOR cat OR one SMALL dog ( 20 lbs or less) negotiable depending on temperament, references, etc. $35/mo. pet fee. (2 Cats could be in house total). ??

What Owner/Landlord Requires For Move In:
Copy of credit report from the big 3 credit agencies, letter of reference from current landlord or phone number to call, 2 current paystubs, copy of Drivers License, and Renters insurance before moving in.

Some pictures are from before current roomie and I moved in. I'm open to adding your furniture to create a cozy home that you're a part of decorating too :) ??

- Owner lives upstairs with family and two dogs. Very sweet and helpful :)

What I'm looking for in a Roommate:
?- Kind and direct communication.
- Willingness to work through conflict. Willingness to talk through any issues or concerns that will arise for both of us to create more harmony.?
- Cleanliness in common areas. Doing dishes daily. (We have a dishwasher :)
?- Someone doing their internal work and self aware. (Experience in therapy and self growth work a plus)?
- Respectful of down time (Solo time to decompress is nice)?
- Open to having guests and partners over occasionally/overnight/visitin g. ?
- I'm early to bed and early to rise. (9pm-5am sleep times during week) Would love if we are on similar weekday schedule and happy to discuss. Later sometimes on weekend.
?- Cat friendly: I have a 10 month old cat named Freya. I love her very much. Someone that loves or really enjoys cats is a plus. If you have one of your own and know about the Jackson Galaxy way of introducing two cats or cat and dog awesome! It worked for me before:)
?- Cook all you want. No light cooking here. I love it!!
?- Sensitivities: Sensitive to perfumes/fragrances (they give me a headache) Essential oils are cool! No cigarette smoking (due to me being a former smoker) ??

What I Appreciate In Roomie:?
- Sharing healthy meals on occasion and supplies (Open to share groceries/CSA box if interested)
?- Work out buddy occasionally/hiking ?- Rotating cleaning schedules of common areas/hire someone if we decide?- Occasional gatherings/watching movies together/craft nights/self care nights (face masks ect.)?
- Impromptu dance parties around the house?
- Playing/listening to music. I'd also like to learn an instrument eventually. ??

About Me:
?32 year old female psychotherapist with a private practice. I snort when I laugh :) I enjoy being in a field where people share their internal worlds with me. I work Monday through Thursday. On off days or hours I can be found in nature, spending time with friends, or relaxing at home with my cat.??Words to describe myself: self aware, down to earth, sensitive, silly, spiritual, empathetic, respectful, and open hearted.
