Cooperative House Seeking Third Housemate

We are a small cooperative house. We contribute to a food and house supplies budget, share common projects (usually gardening), and spend time together (usually in the kitchen). Although we enjoy each other's company, we also give each other space :).

We are looking for a cooperatively-minded housemate who would like to join our house starting on June 1st (May 30-31 move-in available) or June 15th. Our housemate will be renting a room with shared bathroom in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. The house is easily accessible by BART (Coliseum and Fruitvale), bus (lines 1 and 45), or car.

Currently three people and one dog live in the house. One of our current housemates needs to relocate at the end of May so we are looking for a third housemate. We have a beautiful garden in the front and in the back of the house with fruiting trees, vines, vegetables, greens, and herbs. The kitchen is well-stocked with many useful kitchen appliances, cookware, silverware, and dishware. We have plenty or room for more kitchen gadgets, if you have them! We spend a lot of the time at home in the kitchen and in the backyard. We like the house to be calm space and we love to have friends and family visit. :)

Lease Details:

6- or 12-month lease for one unfurnished room with a closet and a shared bathroom. Access to all common spaces including living room, kitchen/dining room, backyard, and garage (no storage, as we use it as a house gym). Access to all house kitchen and all house appliances. Rent $950 (with water and WiFi included) for one person with no pets.

Landlord pays for trash, recycling, compost, water, sewage, and WiFi. Housemates are responsible for an equal share of gas and electricity.
